A LITTLE ABOUT US:
Today’s Gray Forestry Supply is the outgrowth of a tree marking paint business originally begun by Norman Gray, a licensed forester, of Fryeburg, Maine in the 1970’s. Norm began using and stocking Nelson Tree Marking Paints for marking his own timberland as well as those of other Maine and Northeastern US foresters and landowners. The next and current generation purchased the business in 1983 from Norman and his wife Edith Gray. Gray Forestry Supply is now owned by Jane Gray. In addition to selling forestry paints and supplies by mailorder, Jane is a Certified Public Accountant with an active tax practice. She breeds Belgian and Percheron draft horses on her farms and occasionally harvests timber from her own forestlands. Due to Jane’s interests and knowledge, she welcomes clients to her tax practice who are timberland owners, farmers and small business owners.
